Our Team
Family Run, Occasionally Family Argued
Fred Bobich and his wife, Gwynne, built Sugar Lake Lodge in 1993. His daughter Abby runs the place now, which mostly means she makes the decisions and Fred offers his opinion anyway. Fred has long had a vision for this resort to be generational – given his lineage as part of the Ruttger family – and he and Abby have taken their roles as co-owners very seriously (so much so that they often make the exact same jokes). The rest of the crew you’ll meet below has been putting up with both of them for years.
