Non-Motorized Water Sports
Have some fun on the lake! Take out a canoe, kayak, stand-up paddle board, or our 14’ Hobie Cat sailboat.
White-Sand Beach & Outdoor Heated Pool
Go for a swim in the crystal-blue water, build a castle in the sand, or soak up those warm summer rays and make a splash! Our beach is named “best resort beach” in Minnesota by Star Tribune, and our pool is conveniently located near the beach with a great view of Sugar Lake.
Driving Range & Championship Golf
FOOOOORE! Play a round of 18-hole golf at Sugarbrooke, practice your swing at our driving range, or work on your putting on our practice green.
*Guests play for a special rate of $9 for 9 and $18 for 18.
From our two super-fancy, brand-new pickleball courts to our regulation-sized tennis courts, Sugar Lake Lodge provides a plethora of the ultimate sporting experience. Don’t know how to play a certain sport? Don’t worry, we’ll teach you!
Bicycles & Hiking: Enjoy scenic rides around the property ranging from 1–13 miles for up to two hours per session. Road bikes and local area maps are available at the front desk.
Tennis & Pickleball: Hit your share of winners! Play tennis on our regulation-sized court or pickleball at one of our two brand-new pickleball courts.
Basketball & Volleyball: Bump, set, SPIKE! Gather friends and family for a basketball or volleyball game.
Horseshoes & Bocce Ball: Try your luck at a game of horseshoes or a get a group together for a round of bocce ball.
Mini Docks & Fishing
Relax, read a book, and feel those lakeside vibes on one of several personal docks. Fish for Walleye, Bass, Sunfish, or Crappie. Equipment and lake maps are available at our marina boat house.
Guided Group Activities
Summer 2020 will feature two of our most popular group activities: Nature Hikes with John Latimer and the infamous bonfire storyteller, Casey. Both activities will run throughout the week with social distancing guidelines in place.
