As our largest meeting space, the Alexander Room is fully customizable to accommodate nearly any corporate event. Its size ranges from 1300 square feet to over 5,200, allowing it to seat up to 195 people. This space can easily be configured to be the ideal space for seminars, keynotes, working sessions, roundtables, team building activities, dining, and so much more.

It’s easy to see why the Maple Room is one of our most popular event spaces. It’s an exceptional space that is illuminated by natural light from its numerous windows that also provide a gorgeous view of Sugar Lake. Guests can also step outside onto a deck that overlooks the lake, but be warned! Once you pull up a chair outside, you may not want to come back in. Ideal for groups under 50, this space is a perfect fit for board meetings, training sessions, executive retreat sessions, and other smaller meetings.

Asplin Rooms I, II, and III are fully equipped to handle diverse groups of varying sizes. Offering spaces that range from 300 to 750 square feet, these smaller but spacious rooms are frequently used for concentrated breakout sessions, board meetings, small team meetings, or as a place for a smaller company to put their heads down and accomplish their goals. Complete with plenty of seating and table space, you’ll have what you need here to focus on working through your agenda.

Don’t let its size fool you. The Birch Room may be our smallest meeting space, but it’s the perfect place for groups under 15 to hunker down and accomplish a highly focused goal in a distraction free setting. It’s large enough to comfortably accommodate a select group of people, but small enough to give that group a productive place to lock in, focus, and knock specific tasks off their list.

Our main lodge dining room can seat nearly 200 people and is located just steps from our Alexander Room, which makes it a no-brainer for large groups to utilize both. To make it even better, the dining room is attached to the deck, and guests can take in the lake while they enjoy Sugar Lake Lodge’s signature catering.

All our meeting spaces are located within steps of one another in the Lakefront Lodge, which has so much more to offer. Groups can gather around our fireplace to bond and relax by a gentle fire, grab a drink at the bar at the end of the day, or take their pick from countless other cozy spots located throughout the lodge. It’s all yours to enjoy.

A true guest favorite, our lodge’s deck is more than a place to pull up a chair and sit. Directly attached to many of our indoor spaces, it’s the ideal place for guests step out for a breath of fresh air or change their meeting location altogether. Groups can meet here to work, eat, or simply relax at the end of the day. It’s one of the best places to pull up a chair and enjoy the view of the lake. There’s plenty of room for groups to gather in this more informal setting.

This Pecos River style ropes course is quite challenging, but that’s what makes it so rewarding. Not everyone loves heights, but you’ll be surprised at how your team comes together to motivate one another as they navigate its numerous obstacles. It requires communication, coordination, and focus, skills that no team can go without. Its multi-element design allows teams of all sizes to participate.

Sugarbrooke Golf Course winds its way through 300 acres of pristine maple and oak trees, with beautiful Sugar Lake serving as its backdrop. This par 71, 6,548-yard course challenges even the lowest handicapper. You’ll find it easy to become distracted on our signature 18th hole, with trees bordering both sides of the fairway, a brook guarding the green, and a glare bouncing off the sparkling blue waters of Sugar Lake.

There may be 10,000 lakes in Minnesota, but ours is one in a million. It’s clean, crystal-clear aquamarine waters have earned it the title of the “Mediterranean of the Midwest.” There’s plenty to do in and around the lake. Guests can fish, enjoy one of our mini docks, rent a pontoon boat, or relax on the beach. This is the gem of our resort, so take some time to soak in the views and enjoy one of the clearest lakes in all of Minnesota.

With over 400 acres, there’s no shortage of space at our resort. No matter how large your group is, you’ll be able to spread out and explore our peaceful and secluded resort grounds.
