A peek behind the scenes at Sugar Lake Lodge reveals three generations of Minnesota resort owners and operators. If you ask current Owner, Fred Bobich what he learned from his grandfather, Alex Ruttger and uncle, Jack Ruttger, his answer would be that the secret to pleasing guests is serving quality food.

Pop into Otis’s Grill & Bar for a casual pub environment that serves lunch and dinner options as well as a full complement of beer, wine, and specialty scotches. Open to the public daily from 11am–10:30pm (kitchen closes at 9:30).
Our head chef, Heidi Bentow, works tirelessly to prepare extensive meals that include hot and cold appetizers and hearty entrées. We use fresh, local ingredients and a creative touch to prepare meals for any event.
