Learning at the Lake: Honor the How

Honor the How: A one-day experience for local women to explore the process of being a leader, not just the outcome.

This isn’t your typical leadership conference. We are hosting a gathering for local women to connect through meaningful conversations and tangible skills development opportunities. Our theme is “Honor the How”, where we’re taking the idea of a “sit and listen” style conference and completely changing it to “learning by doing”. This experiential-style conference is designed to be useful in the moment, inspiring through interactions, and exploratory of every type of leadership from brand new intern to retired CEO.

We’re gathering in a space designed to challenge our views on traditional leadership. We’re exploring vulnerability, transparency, curiosity, and creativity in hopes that participants will think in different ways about what leadership – and women in leadership – looks like in 2025.
